1970-D Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC With 3 Die Clashed Bars In Front Of Face?

Idacostya Valued Member United States 129 Posts	Posted 05/12/2017 10:56 pm I ran across this Lincoln Cent just a short time ago and the first thing that popped in my head was Prisoner Cent, or what used to be, I say that because it looks as though it was die polished to try and clear up the clash marks. Please correct me if I'm wrong, I am still trying to learn and understand the what, why, and where these things happen. All I can really make out are 3 light vertical bars in the field in front of Lincolns face and what looks like a horizontal line directly behind the head. Am I on the right track with this coin, or am I still way out left field? Report this Post to the Staff
