Found a Double-Die Error on Date for 1958D Lincoln Wheat cent. Is this an error coin?

Thanks

Seems to be Machine Doubling to me. The doubling appears flat and shelf like, rather than rounded and as high as the numbers.
Rest in Peace

EXTREME die wear on devices, possible Grease Fill on 19 and die break on upper right 1. Flattening out of digits is die wear, note 5 & 8. That die is a mess!

It looks to me like flat and shelf-like Machine Doubling on the one, and part Machine Doubling and die wear on the nine. Yes it is an error coin, and no, it's not a Doubled Die. Better luck on the next one.
