Found in our front yard near another coin dated 1891, a penny. This coin is size/shape like a quarter but for the life of me I cannot match the eagle to any coin I've searched ebay and google images for hours. Please help.

I can't identify exactly what type it is, but based on what is visible of the design, I am almost sure that it is Mexican in origin.
Rest in Peace

I think we can probably narrow it down to one of the state-issued copper fractional reales of the Mexican Republic.

Based on the size, I assume a ¼ Real.

This would be my best guess here: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces57830.html
