I just purchased a lot of 27 Morgans & a few other lovely little gems at a tag sale.
After getting home looking through them quickly I saw that my 1884-O had a completely solid O?
I've personally never seen this before and was wondering if it's anything rare or just something that happens from time to time. Any feedback would be appreciated

Sorry, we'll need better pics, properly aligned, with a close-up of the MM.

This listing is posted as an example. As CoinFrog posted, we'll need to see good images of the obverse and reverse. http://www.vamworld.com/1884-O+VAM-39

Not sure how to change the picture.
From my phone if I view the picture I can zoom in & see it perfectly.
My question was is it an error for thr O mint mark to be completely solid like a period.
doesn't look like a'doughnut?
Ill try to resize and resend pics in the morning.
Thanks
