Hi thedollarman
The seminars are free to attend, and if you would like to reserve a spot, drop me an email at torontocoinexop@gmail.com with your name, and it will be passed along to the presenter.
Roger's presentation will definitely be one to attend. He is full of great knowledge as willing to share with the collectors and hobby.
Hope you can make the event.
Cheers
Jared

thanks so much..so to attend would I need to reserve a spot, or once at the show would I be able to simply walk in? I am not too sure if I want to make an actual reservation as I am not sure yet if I can attend.

and that's very true..I've always enjoyed his posts, I owe a lot of my knowledge and success in the hobby to him.

and I just wanna say how amazing is it that the actual person running the event takes the time to reply to individuals on an online forum, I really think it's an amazing and personal thing that helps set the expo out from the rest of the crowd..i can't see torex ever doing such a thing lol.

thanks Jared, you're very helpful, just as you have been the couple times we've talked in person.

For those who attended... was it worth it? Nice finds? Well attended? Any training session that was amazing?

absolutely outstanding show...the dealers are always extremely pleasant overall and this show was no exception. SPP's seminar was awesome as well, a solid 10/10 and super educational. and the show was well organized and just outstanding, lots of dealers and good finds and some fair deals. as far as nice finds, I left with multiple coins that will certainly upgrade from their old certs by at least a grade point, as well as 3 specimen strike coins and some other gorgeous pieces . always love the expo.

another thing that sets this show apart from the rest is the abundance of natural light from the windows..you don't get that at torex's stuffy hotel room shows..you don't even get good lamps!

edited to also add that SPP's seminar was very intereactive and hands on..examples of weak strikes were handed out and allowed to be examined and kept by those attending, people were also encouraged to add their own knowledge and ask questions during the seminar..and we were trusted with looking at some higher end weakly struck coins..it was very laid back and fun, and much more of a relaxed environment than expected! good job SPP!

Another great show this spring, and a big thank you to our presenters, Chris, Jeff and Roger.
The Fall show is scheduled for September 29-30 and the Auctions is September 27-28.

Here was my find for my collection at the show, what did you pickup.

Cheers
Jared

Thanks for the kinds words thedollarman, I usually give tons of presentations and public speaking is something I am comfortable with - but those presentations are about geology... this was my very first seminar at a coin show speaking about coins. I know a handful of dealers who wanted to come to the seminar - but they are also there to make money and could not leave their tables...

I am open to any constructive criticism if you saw anything that could be improved (e.g., Powerpoint presentation or seminar structure...)
