I came across this coin today, and wanted to share it. It appears to be struck though something. Any ideas, and any value to such an error?
TIA

The other hair-like impressions around it and the remaining devices, although weakened, make me think struck through thread.

thanks Papdoc75.

I now use sticky tack to hold the lens, as it makes it easier that I can pop it on and off as needed.
