Finally, A 1967 Double Die Obverse, Bu. I Almost Gave Up.

I had gone through thousands of cents, and about two months ago finally gave up. Last week I purchased a couple of nice coins from a dealer here in Oregon, and then looked through his junk box. Pulled out a 1922, 23, and 25 cent coins in vf , and a handful of George V cents, and one 1967. All these at 5 coins per dollar. Take a look at the nice doubling. Report this Post to the Staff

I was startled to see them in the junkbox, along with many other really nice foreign coins, - the best being a small Palestine 5 mil coin in BU condition. Just very fortunate that day.
