Fantastic pair!

Here's a commemorative crown from the Isle of Man. It was issued in 1976 to commemorate the US Bicentennial of Independence.

As the Isle of Man is British Crown Dependency, it is not surprising to find the Arnold Machin portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the coin's obverse. A portrait of George Washington, General of the Continental Army during the American Revolution, a Founding Father and the first US President under the US Constitution, is seen on the reverse. IMO, a well-executed "two-headed" coin.

The coin is 38.61 mm in diameter and weighs 28.4 grams; it is struck on a copper-nickel planchet with a reeded edge; it was also struck on a sterling silver planchet (0.925 fine silver) in Uncirculated and Proof. The coin was struck by the Pobjoy Mint in medal alignment. It had a maximum mintage of 50,000.
