But it's from EAST Germany. Which wasn't technically a country any more after that year. So last of the coinage and a cool moment in history. East german coins were rarer, and they only made 5000 of the silver proof. $175 retail according to Krause, picked it up for $25 with buyers premium. Still in OMP, capsule had some cracking around the edge. Which led to the toning issues on the obverse. I will likely get it conserved. Report this Post to the Staff
