Hey Andre, where did you find out where these will be released? Do you know if they will release them outside of Quebec? I usually pick up the new issues at the local RBC, but of course, they rely on ME to tell them when the new coins come out! Thanks.

Andre, please add me to your list, and I would lke to know about how much one would cost. I collect the cents, and have "quite a few"! I figure it is time to branch out into new territory. Topher, or anyone who has Peirre Charest email add. I need it to but his BOOK. I can't use the CDROM, I got, because of my vision problems. Thanks, Dick

NDS76, I got your email. I am interested in these, and at the same time, I wonder what they are! LOLOLOL Size-wise, are they dollar sized? I know nothing about the Canadian coinage. That is why I bought, (I thought) the 2008 book, and got a CDROM, which I can't use. Now I need to get in touch with Pierre, and get a book, that I can use. Dick

Dick, the twoonie is a bi metal $2 coin. The obverse as always features Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse features a polar bear. The are close in size to a half dollar.

Dick,
If you've got the CD-Rom, then you can print the book. It's only 8.4"x11" anyway, so it would be the same size as your printout.

Chris, That would mean printing a ream of paper! Or is it a quire? I know it would be a large amount, if my 2005 ED. is any indication. I got it as a gift from Daggit, when we swapped some rolls of coins. It is a BIG help! Then there is the background, of small squares, or checkered marks. That is one of the reasons I can't use the CDROM, and if the print-outs were the same..... Dick

Dick, I only print the pages I need. The entire second half of the book is non-circulation issues, which don't interest me (as a collector). I've only printed about 40 or 50 pages so far. I would print a couple of pages, because if you still have trouble, then buying a printed copy of the book isn't going to be any better.

Hi Topher To andswer your question this 2008 special issue twoonie will be out in May 2008.This coin will be representing the 400th of Quebec. The only place that you will be able to get these will be from the Caisse Populaire in Quebec and Ontario,no other bank will have those coins in roll.
Livingdinasaur your name will be added to my list.
