I'm not 100% sure that they will issue PL set as they say these coins wher going to be issue only at the Caisse Populaire.
Just in case they don't all add your nick to my list.

Most excellent, thank you! I know Nunavut had its twoonie in a special PL set so that is why I was wondering about this Quebec twoonie. What exactly is the Caisse Populaire?

Caise Populaire is the same as a Credit Union in the rest of Canada. In 2000 the RCM issued a Sterling proof 10 cent coin commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the first caise populaire in Canada.

Hi,my first post here. I've been a twoonie collector only for half a year. Can't wait to see that twoonie! I usually buy 2 rolls specific year twoonies when I get chance. But, it seems not easy to get such chance since hardly can see twoonie rolls sold on everywhere even ebay. Maybe I just haven't found right way. Any ideas would be really appriciated! Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me, Andre! Sorry, I forgot to tell you those important things especially when we show on a new forum at first time. I am in Toronto. I'm interested in canadian twoonie and some commemoratives at present.
What I meant that hardly can't get those original untouched twoonie rolls is just based on my internet buying experience. I haven't tried looking them at local stores yet. But I guess the price would be a little higher at local store because their business expense is much more than internet based business.

sanong - Welcome. I'm in Toronto as well, and RBC always has the new issues for me. I've got one branch at the corner where I work that knows me particularly well and relies on me to tell them when they'll be getting the new coins! LOL Andre - where will the commemorative Twoonie be available? I don't know of any Caise Populaire here in Toronto. The RCM website, of course, doesn't give any info on the coin at all.

Thanks for your information, Topher! You're lucky, When I went to my local branch(TD bank) last time, they only gave me circulated twoonie roll not original unopened. I'll try RBC next time. Thanks again!

sanong - you usually have to ask them to look for the new mint rolls. It's a bit of hit or miss, really. Once you develop a relationship with a teller, then they'll be more helpful. I've never found TD to be helpful for anything, though. CIBC and RBC have been great to me.
