Have you tried more than 1 Caisse Populaire? Are they all following the same strict rules? What if you visit the same place again in a few days?

I don't want to make your life hell, I'm just trying to get a feel for the situation.

Only 5 coins per member? That is odd. How are these people on ebay getting full rolls then? Maybe it was just at your location Andre that had a 5 coin limit.

I got the coins you see here from 4 place that I went and the all got the same order no more then 5 per members,as to ebay this seller must be working for the mint that is the only way he could get these coins before they really came out. Some of the place's I did they only allow 3 coins so it must rules from each establishment.

This isn't encouraging news. :( I'll have to take a long lunch break and see how many I can hit in downtown Toronto.

I saw rolls of these for $125.99 and single coins with a Buy-It-Now price of $9.99 which I think is very steep for a new coin that isn't even listed in the Charlton yet.

These toonies are now being offered with a silver medallion on the Mint website under the "Just Released" section. Strangely, there is no mention of mintage.

The coin in the presentation pac with medallion has a gold plated stirling silver inner which would explain the higher price.

Are the toonies being issued at the bank the same as the ones being offered in this commemorative card (in terms of metal composition)?
