What year is the toonie and have you weighed it?
If the coin shows any signs of wear as is most likely going to be the case given the fragile finish,the value won't be much more than a small premium, unless it's pure silver.
The regular and proof base metal issues are 6.9 grams compared to 9 grams for the pure silver gp ones from the proof sets.
It's always disheartening to think about how proof examples enter circulation but an exiting and rare find nonetheless!
