This may be old news to a lot of you but here in the Philippines I just saw posting of 2017 1 oz Silver Swan in one of our local seller's website.

I ordered 3 for me because its 9999 and secondly its low mintage at 25,000.

What's your take on this coin. Is this a winner or not ?

How much was it? Its a winner for those who were able to buy it at like 20-25 bucks when it was first sold on APMEX. Now they are going for 50-65 now

I bought it in the secondary market. From local currency to USD that comes to about 43 USD.

I am not surprised that they are being taken at a premium. What is more amazing is that collectors are buying the ones with original capsules at just 3-4 dollars under MS69 graded coins.

Could it be they are hopinc the coins they buy turn up MS70 once they have them graded and flip them for higher price?

MS70 grade are selling at 100+ dollars each.

Bugoy!

Glad you were able to get a few Swans~! Great price too!

With these premium coins, especially Perth Mint most all of the coins would grade either a 69 or a 70.
That's why the 69's typically sell for just a few dollars more than the raw ones do. I (and a lot of others)
prefer my bullion coins raw anyway.
