These are my only 2 gold coins I have

2016 1/4 American Eagle
2016 1/10 American Eagle

Got these back in December when Gold took a dip.

Looking to add maybe a 1 oz coin.....leaning towards the Mexican 50 Pesos Gold Coin.

Any other good options?

Thank you

Why not a 1 Oz American Eagle? Make it a set.

Although Mexican 50 pesos will be bit less comparing oz to oz.

Good point - the 1/2 and the 1oz would make a nice year set of gold eagles

yep since you got the 1/4 and 1/10, get a 1/2 and 1 oz and then go and get other stuff like 50 pesos, 20 pesos, etc

There are lots of US gold half eagles that can be had in respectable condition in NGC and PCGS holders for a modest amount over gold value. How about a hundred year old or older US gold coin that saw honest circulation instead of the new stuff.

Get something with low mintage, buy a 1 oz gold Libertad or a Mickey Mouse Steamboat Willie or Darth Vader.

I have AGE and Buffs, and while they are nice, they get boring after the first 10 lol

I only buy 24K, but I there are certain Canadian coins in 18K that I've had my eyes on for years and could never find them. Buy what you like; you can't go wrong with gold.

Two of my favorites are the most recent Canadian Maple Leaf and the British Britannia, (both with the security background) but I'd have to say that the US Buffalo is my absolute favorite. It has it all: great looks/detail, numismatic history, 24K.

A 1oz Eagle is a great choice too. In Canada the Eagle is too expensive to buy from a dealer because it non-pure, which makes it a taxable purchase. That prevents me from owning them.

The Mexican 50 Peso is a nice, hefty coin, but at 1.2oz of gold it's pricier than others.

When I take the plunge (whenever that will be), I plan to go with a Sovereign.
