Three Chinese Coins, Almost Identical. Identification Help Please.

bjherbison Valued Member United States 257 Posts	Posted 06/10/2017 07:55 am All three are "Cash" coins of Emperor Gao Zong, 1736-1795. (From the lower pictures, the obverse.) The top images are the reverse and show the coins are from the Board of Revenue mint. The upper right seems to be South Branch, I don't see the connector on the right character that would identify north branch. The vertical stroke in the top character is slanted. Probably Hartill 22.208. 1761-1767. The lower coin is from the East Branch, see the variation at the bottom of the bao at the left of the obverse. The vertical stroke in the top character is vertical. Probably Hartill 22.211, 1768-1773. The upper left coin has a later shape of the top character. North Branch from the upper left protrusion on the lower character. 1774-1795. Seem to be 1782-1795 from the left lines of the right character. Probably Hartill 22.226, but could be .218, .226, or .230. All three coins are KM# 387.1 / C# 1-1 / S# 1464 / FD# 2297. Report this Post to the Staff
