Agreed Craigy, a ridiculous price.
There is little or no secondary collectors market for these modern issues so anyone buying with a view to investment will later find the coins are only ever worth their bullion weight.

like the idea of the piedfort but very few hold any value, might hold its money cause its the first piedfort sov made, the ones the mint churn out now can be picked up for less than they were new, the £20 coins are like that , you can get them for £18 post free, and piedfort £1 coins for around £20, crazy prices, maybe when the coins get older they will increase.

These sold out fast at the mint and are selling for a healthy profit on ebay.
