There is little or no secondary collectors market for these modern issues so anyone buying with a view to investment will later find the coins are only ever worth their bullion weight. Craigy New Member United Kingdom 26 Posts	Posted 06/27/2017 07:55 am like the idea of the piedfort but very few hold any value, might hold its money cause its the first piedfort sov made, the ones the mint churn out now can be picked up for less than they were new, the £20 coins are like that , you can get them for £18 post free, and piedfort £1 coins for around £20, crazy prices, maybe when the coins get older they will increase.
