Hi, I am seeing an unusual mark/lettering behind the "S" or is this just die grease or a die chip? Thanks!

Sorry, but in my opinion, it's not an RPM.

Since there is no split upper serif/ rotation doubling and not enough inside the S curves, it isn't 1970S-1MM-002 (WRPM-002) but is definitely a MDS/LDS run due to polish lines. NOTE: Big hint! To help identify your RPM/DDO / DDR's, you shouldn't use any higher magnification than pix #4 & #5. Any higher, you do start seeing metal analomies that tend to fool the brain. If it isn't clear at lower mag, it most likely isn't those errors.
