Hi, I found this today. The coin feels a lot more dense compared to the other buffalos I have, though its lighter as it weights in at 4.79g

I've heard they've been stamped on penny planchets, and argentina ones. Is this an example ?

First guess would be environmental damage e.g. buried in the ground.
