Blank Penny Planchet Any Thoughts - Coin Community Forum

My local NGC dealer said it was an error where it wasn't struck at the minting facility. It could be a planchet for a foreign coin or a privately-minted token but without knowing the exact composition, it will be an almost impossible search. Report this Post to the Staff
Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 06/22/2017 3:52 pm w/ Bio. It weighs half of a US copper Planchet. No telling composition. Is it slightly smaller than a US cent?
