1902: Looks like a weakly struck 64. Cheek may be nice, but the strike matters in making 65. This one doesn't. I like the toning. If you dip it, I think it would be a mistake.
1824: Looks like a cleaned vf. I would find a nicer one - these are plentiful.

Yea I was 50/50 on the 1824. The 1902 I'm leaning on keeping the toning, it may reveal issues if I remove it. I have seen on PCGS coinfacts the 1902 isn't uncommon for weak strikes. I saw several examples with photos similar to mine making 65 and a few 66. I'm gonna return the 1824 tomorrow when I get back from the Yankees game I'm going to. He has a solid pl 1881 s and 1880 s Morgan. Also a nice 1881 o.

The 1902 looks AU from those pictures (A dip would really bring out the luster if MS). Could be MS. I just can't tell, but I would not wager on it. The 1824 looks VF details. The surfaces appear to be cleaned, and there is a dig above the head. Sorry to be so negative.

Don't clean the Morgan. I, and many others, like this original tone, especially when it's near match obverse and reverse.
Half is typical Retoned VF. I'd pass on that one.

send in the 1902 unless you decide to take a chance and dip but it could grade decently from the pics shown. I thought AU but you mentioned that it looked very nice in hand. I told you before but the 24 half is probably cleaned so return that one

The 1902 looks 65 quality if not for the dull luster. I think dipping this one would not give you the results you are looking for so leave it alone. MS-64 on this one.

AU53 on the 1902 (it's been circulated); a 50/50 might bump it up to a 55/58 depending on the remaining luster The 1824 Bust Half is VF35, but might slide into an XF40 holder at a TPG; I agree with most everyone else that it's been messed with.

I gave back the 1824 half. Got a 1881 s, 1880 s both pl minimum. Also a nice 1881 o with a good shot at 65. The 1902 and the 3 others are off to PCGS next time.
