If you're interested in searching rolls and want to find things your best bets would be cents, nickels and halves.

Most cent boxes contain several wheat cents and usually plenty of copper.

The design of the nickel hasn't changed in a long time so older dates from the '40s and '50s are easy to find.

Halves boxes are your best bet for silver though it's always hit and miss. Sometimes you get a good box and sometimes you get skunked.
