I wanted a 100oz silver bar (yes I know buying 100 1oz rounds for the same or even lower price would be better come selling time) but I decided on the Sunshine Minting 100oz bar from JMBullion because it looked to have a shiny proof/mirror like finish. Anyway I get the bar and the finish is nowhere near as shiny as the the stock image or the bars I see on youtube unboxing videos. Does anyone know if the company changed the finish of there 100oz bar this year?
Rest in Peace

The value of bullion, which is what you are buying, is not affected by the condition of the item, coin or bar.

Buy new rolls if you are concerned with condition. Or buy in person at shows or LCS if you want to see the condition. The majority of "used" 100 ounce bars will have dings and dents.

Nothing lost at all as far as value.

I want a 100 ounce bar just to have one for the cool factor. Maybe one day...

I would say try and get small size silver.......its all about liquidity....easier to sell a 1 oz or 5 or 10 oz bar compared to a 100 oz bar!

If you want to invest in silver, 100 oz bars is the best way. You can buy them for 22c per oz over and sell them at spot. Coins and smaller bars, no. However, coins and smaller bars move better at shows.
