I just finished reading this article in Numismatic News 7/18 edition about TV personality Rick Harrison autographing a limited number of NGC certification slabs and according to NGC they are not only honored that Harrison is signing their labels, they also expect encapsulated coins with Harrison's signature on the label to be very popular collectibles and would take the NGC's collaboration to the next level!!
I have a mixed feeling about this,I personally would be more interested in collecting a slabbed coin signed by M.Diamond,R.Coop,Wexler,Wiles,Potter,Fivaz,Stanton,Ellis,Bowers,to mention a few.
I guess it is a marketing strategy to boost the business, but wouldn't it have been ideal to recognize one of our Numismatic experts who have devoted their life time of contribution in this field.

What are your thoughts?
