I use a program called Auction Sentry, it works great and is relatively cheap.

Hi, I've used Gavelsnipe about 10 times.
Generally it works well...although on a few key auctions it simply did not work.
Now and then, I run a test on a cheapo auction just to ensure it's working OK.

Kurt,
Sounds like it is just ok.
Do you use any that have performed better?
Thank You

I use auctionsniper if you sign up for it I think you get 3 free snipes then they start charging you for every other snipe you place and win (only when you win), it works great and I usually win 9 out of 10 auctions with it. There is also a completely free sniper called just snipe and you don't have to pay anything but its not as good as auctionsniper because it doesn't wait until the last 3 seconds to place the bid on the free version (I think it is 8 seconds minimum on the free version). I would probably use the free 3 auctionsnipe on important auctions you really want or need, and use just snipe on the rest

I use this one:

http://www.download.com/Buyertools-...Pid=10828819

I've been using it for several years without any problems. It's a little tough to figure out at first, but hasn't failed to place a bid yet. Just one warning though, it can be a RAM hog.
Rest in Peace
