I found this in a circulated bankroll from a bank box. I know it's a minor one, but I think it's cool still. It's in kind of a weird spot on the coin. Kinda unusual to see it in this area on the coin.

Really nice pics! I just don't know on this. I think usually when it is a Greaser in the field like that; the greased surface appears to be more of the rough surface and this is looking like it is pretty smooth.
The more experienced members will know.

Will see what the others say. But I know for sure it's not PMD or glue. It's a struck through error. Thank you for the picture compliment! :)

It may be, I just haven't seen one like this before. I agree not glue as you can tell that it is sunken. Once identified I will keep the pic for my learning files.

Hope it is a Greaser - I like em.

Maybe a damaged planchet before plating or a struck through debris.

I looked up "struck through debris" and my coin exactly matches the error.
