The E and the R in Liberty don't connect to the head as in my other coins. Also the clock on the reverse building is connected to the base of the building. Thanks for looking and any advice is appreciated!

One of the mint employees was having a great time using the dremel. It's an over-polished die.

with RCB. Nice find! I've been looking for one of those for a while now. Talk about a Floating Roof!

So this is a known error?

The error is an Over-Polished Die, aka Abraded Die. In this area, on the cent, it's been dubbed the Floating Roof.
I've never seen one on a Kennedy, but the area is the same little strip in relief on the die as it is on the cent. The Floating Roof cent is well known. I knew there should be some halves as well.
