I found this in a circulated bank roll from a bank box. I notice it's yellow like brass and would like to know if it"s the real deal. Any feedback is appreciated. The left is the brass plated error coin and the one on the right is normal. The right one is for comparison purposes only.

What are you wanting to know, unclear. Don't think anyone is counterfeiting US cents LOL!

It doesn't appear plated, the details/letters have too sharp edges. Yellowing is ED?

If it brass plated or not. Because the U.S. mint "accidently" plated some from 1998 with brass. Brass plated errors do existed on LC from 1983, 1985 D, 1997, and 1998. I don't know if it's real or not. Just want to see if it's real or not. :)

Only other thing I could think of is maybe it's naturally toned from age.

They can be from any year since mid 1982. The zinc planchets cause the zinc to build up in the electro-plate solution when it's not changed often enough. In nice condition they're worth $50+. I don't see the yellow on yours. Here's one I found about 1 1/2 yrs. ago.
