I found this in a roll with an 1867 US nickel. I have no experience with Canadian coinage. I did look it up. From what I understand there are 2 different types,Maple Leaf,and Dot. I have no idea which one this is.It also may have a small struck through in the 3rd pic. Arrows to point it out. Any info on this coin is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Actually there are three types of 47 Nickels.
The two you mentioned plus the normal date.
What you have is the 47 ML which indicates
it was struck in 1948.
It is the 1947 Dot that has the most value.
The coin shown in that condition wouldn't be
worth much more than face value, but nice
to have if you don't have one.
I think what you refer to as a struck through
is probably a gouge.

New obverse dies for '48 were not ready in time so the Maple Leaf was added to the '47 reverse dies and nearly ten million of these were struck in '48 before the new dies were ready.

"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
