I noticed in this nickle that alot of letters have a fault,
is this from damage?
Also there is a small dot to the left of the date and
A half of an "I" in Monticello too,
is this some sort of variety?

Dot to left of 9 in date is a tiny die chip. The rest, although it's tough to tell from these photos, all appear to be from Post Mint Damage, rather than an error.
