Hello everyone,

I've been struggling for more than an hour to identify this coin, I've searched for all sorts of combinations on coinarchives.com, but zero success. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Thank you in advance!

German state Brunswick has a horse in his arms.
Can you give the weight and dimensions?
Perhaps you can send the pictures to:
http://www.bonatiele.nl/FILWEL/welcome.html
If you like I can post the pictures here on Zeno, but then I need to know the weight and dimensions.
https://www.zeno.ru

Perhaps the 2 and the S are not part of the denomination.
Closer look gives me the feeling it is 1/4
see this coin:

This is a coin from Ceylon (Sri Lanka), struck in Galle (Netherlands)

Coin weighs 4,8 grams and is about 2cm in diameter. I think the "2 S" looks very similar in style to the ceylon coin you posted. A friend said this looks like a revolutionary coin, so I googled and found this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gre...n_of_1817-18 , don t know if this could be related. I would be very grateful if you could post on the Russian forum, I am out of town and my internet signal is garbage. I will send the pictures to bonatiele, thank you so much for your help.

Arie from bonatiele.nl was extremely helpful.

"This object is a lead token (in this case "loodje" in Dutch) and possibly used in relation with ships. Several of these tokens are found in shipwrecks in The Netherlands.
The exact use of it is unknown however.
They appear with several values, yours is of the highest known value: 24 stuivers."

Thank you again for your help, Petrus!
