Picked up this penny today, pretty nice shape, different color than normal one, more butter color (whatever that means, lol). Just seeing what your thought of a grade was. Thanks in advance. SS

Looks nice for a zincoln - is that a gouge on the obverse field?

Its kinda weird saying that looks good for a EIGHT YEAR OLD Zincolns, sheeesh!! We find AU's of the 60's & 70's regularly, FIFTY some odd years older and still looking good! Seems I've been finding massive quantities of zincolns far beyond identifiable as to dates...mintmarks are a popped zinc zit usually, it takes a good scrubbing with a Brillo pad to feel clean after doing a bank box!

Yeah, not quite sure why I torture myself with pennies. Looking for those few varieties I guess. Still have 3/4 box left. Might just start looking for wheat ones and roll the rest!
