Here is a nice example of the re-engraved reverse die on the tail feathers.

I would like your opinion on grade and value please

Could be anywhere from AU55 to MS63, photos are just a bit blurry. I can't imagine what, if any, value premium it would carry vs. any other 1958-D - you'd have to look for past auction sales/eBay sales, etc.

Congrats on the 57-D Onedollarbillnut!! Fantastic find.

To my knowledge, your coin would be the finest known.

The coin pictured in the CPG was misplaced, the PCGS MS64 is a misattribution, and Stoneman's LDS coin would make a total of 3.

For reference, I sold the AU-55 example on ebay for $4,500. Mike Diamond also did a nice article and included my images in an article in Coin World.

Best Cass

I have consigned this coin to Great Collections to sell.

They crossed it over to PCGS, it came back MS-64.

It is for sale now on their site
