New to the search and adventure... Still trying to differentiate true doubled die from Machine Doubling. I belive I see doubling on liberty and IGWT. Thank you for your knowledge.

Its not hub doubling, but it's the weirdest MD I've seen. Not sure what caused that effect other than a planchet defect of some sort. The rim has been worn or smashed down including IGWT. and LIBERTY as well, letters are too "fat". This doesn't happen within the stamping process so it has to be PMD.
