spru Bedrock of the Community United States 12477 Posts	Posted 11/03/2017 8:59 pm It is similar for sure but, there are differences as well such as the spacing of the "diamonds" and the lack of any remaining detail of a cancelled coin. Also, some of the impressions seem to have shifted the design elements of the nickel suggesting post-strike damage, especially on the reverse. The pattern looks regular to me but has also been affected by circulation. I really don't know. Maybe you could contact Mike Diamond for a final opinion.
