OK, folks here it is.
This will be a very simple, straightforward challenge:
Post your best raw, unslabbed USA Seated Liberty coin.

There are six choices: Half Dimes; dimes; Twenty Cent Pieces; quarters; half dollars; dollars.
For the purposes of this contest, Trade dollars count in the SL dollar category.
No coins minted outside the USA allowed; sorry.

Point system as follows:
Exact (or very close) dollar match = 10 points.
Half dollar = 6 points.
Quarter = 5 points.
Twenty center = 4 points.
Dime = 3 points.
Half Dime = 2 points.

This is a grading contest. Top points awarded for top grade.
For purposes of this challenge, four grades will be considered:
XF/AU or better, including proof.
F/VF
G/VG
G-/AG/'worn nearly slick' but with readable date.
Deduct one point from your entry for each grade it falls short of XF/AU.
All entries receive at least one point for participation.
There will be no negative numbers; i.e. if you have a slick Half Dime it still gets one point.
Date matters only for an exact match. Grading is subjective. I will use the standards as described in the Red Book of U.S. Coins.

Here is the challenge coin:

Good luck, and have fun.

Note, this will probably be my last appearance in this thread, and my presence on CCF as a whole will be winding down considerably. My 'other' collectibles hobby is now demanding all my spare time and resources, plus there are serious age related health issues arising that must be dealt with. It's been a great run and I have learned sooo much from this site. Hopefully my modest contributions have provided something of lasting value. Keep up the good work, everyone. -msy

So if I post my 1840 dollar estimated at G-8, it is 8 points. Whereas my 1853 Arrows and Rays 50 cent in XF-40 a MUCH BETTER quality coin would only be 6? I have to take out of 2x2s to pix and won't for a while, have posted the SLD previous on CCF.

I realize there will be some inconsistencies in the point system.
Since Seated dollars in general are much tougher than halves, I feel they deserve more points even though lesser grade.
I'm not gonna change anything at this point. Just let it play out as it will.
Rest in Peace

Hmm I got nothing with a seated liberty obverse so I guess I'll be watching this one.

@MSY, what a neat idea for this week's edition of the contest. I really like the constraint that our coin be raw--too many of mine are residing in plastic tombs. I do have this 1858-O Seated Half still in a 2x2 (graded as an XF, but would be open to other opinions).
