No, it's all yours, @owatchman, because you won the last round. @jbuck's suggestion was just a contingency in the case that you did not return. Since you have returned, what challenge do you have for us?

Again, has Owatchman seen these last few posts? If you have OW, post acknowledgement please. It did "sound like" the baton was passed? Confusing...?

Okay then.

Post your oldest lowest face value coin.

For me it is this 1806 US Half Cent...

No points so everyone can play. You are posting to impress me. I will choose a winner. I am biased, but will take the oohs and aahs into consideration.

Expect a winner to be chosen on Friday.

Will an old Canadian Bank token work?

Hey Boss, when you say FV, any nationalities FV? Or Just US/Canadian that is recognizable as a current denomination (cents, dimes, dollars, etc)? Or will Centisimos, Pesos and Dinero count?

Most straightforward entry I have:

Japan 1 rin 1884

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

A rin was worth 1/10 of a sen or 1/1000th of a yen, which at the time was pegged to the Spanish dollar. I believe Japan was one of the very few nations to make the equivalent of a mill into an actual, circulating coin.

As long as it is denominated in legitimate Canadian denomination.

Any nation, any period! Modern, medieval, ancient will all work.
