I know it's past time, but since there is not a winner yet, I sent my vote in.

Aw, geez. Thanks guys! I had hoped to do a good challenge, but time is still tight (wife is watching that new Netflix cleaning show and my nights and weekends aren't nights and weekends anymore!). Let's have a fun easy challenge. I found this guy while sorting through a bag of miscellaneous Roman coins I had laying around. He's a "barbarous" radiate, a type of emergency change made both by the barbarian invaders into the Roman empire during the Crisis years (235-285), or else a local blacksmith who had access to scrap bronze and hadn't been paid in a few months. As best as I can figure, it was trying to imitate this type of Gallienus (253-268), showing a stag walking and imploring Diana for protection: Object of this challenge is simple - post your least artistically meritous coin! It could be ancient or medieval, or there are plenty of horrifying coins out there, particularly from third world countries contracting third-rate engravers! Post your coins and send in your votes Tuesday night!

Quote: least artistically meritous Well, that got off to a flying start.. Best I can come up with is this pewter ' Morgan dollar' paperweight. Not even close to being an actual coin, but it's as ugly as that Eagles loss to N'awleans tonight.
