That last round was great but a bit hectic.. how about something on a quieter note. ..See that 1822 crown posted above? That's your challenge. Post a coin or combination of real coins that have been upcycled, or re-purposed, for some other use than what they were originally intended for. This could be anything from jewelry, to pennies laminated in a table top, to that old nickel you drilled a hole in because you needed a washer. Let's make this a people's choice award. Most creative, most attractive use of coin(s) wins. (Honestly tho that Zincoln you used as a shim in your battery terminal post isn't going to cut it.) Only rules are, no fake or imitation coins, and you must own the item. Automatic win if you happen to have another silver coin dated 1822 used as a personal ornament. We'll let this one run until Sunday evening at 6 pm to give everyone time to dig stuff out of hiding ~~or to shop ebay~~. Good luck and it will be interesting to see what oddities show up. The top LWC is counterstamped with a red white and blue painted V. The bottom one is concave. Made into the shape of a Doughboy helmet from WWI. They are called Victory Pennies.
