Sorry all! Taxes did indeed get the better of me this weekend...
I decided to be nice and coint Lady Liberty as the personification of America since Uncle Sam didn't come around until the mid/late 19th century, and ditto with Marianne, since she stands for the French Republic.
My count:
Jbuck - 2 (N & S America) Dorado - 6 ( France & her domains on 10c, Europa, Britannia, Helvetia, Liberty) Arkie - 2 (Liberty, Poland) January1May - 2 (Britannia, Orontes - and Tyche would have counted too but you didn't post her) Bd251 - 1 (Britannia) Pepactonius - 2? (Britannia, Libertad, not sure if wild man stands in for anything?) 1c5d7n5m - 5 (Holland, Hispania, Marianne, Rhone & Saone)
Dorado wins by a nose! Take us away Dorado!

Quote: and Tyche would have counted too but you didn't post her I didn't explicitly mention her. Tyche is the main figure, Orontes is the sideshow (essentially invisible on my photo, but he's supposed to be there). Even so, Dorado would have won anyway.
