1) it doesn't follow jbuck's "count the similarities" rule

None of my contingency challenges follow that rule/suggestion, either. They all involve posting the largest/smallest, oldest/newest, most/least, highest/lowest, strangest, oddest, etc. coin.

Again, just a suggestion to address complaints. No need to make this a rule when it is not. Whatever you want the challenge to be, just do it.

I have not come up with a challenge yet. Feel free to jump in. If not, maybe I will have one tomorrow.

I will give someone, anyone, until after the GTP 3PM deadline passes to do something or I will post my challenge.

Okay, since j1m is skeered , I will post a coin I really like and you guys can attempt to match the most characteristics with ONE entry.

Here are the aspects that count for points:

Bimetallic = 1 point
Denomination of 2 = 1 point
Bears multiple languages = 1 point
Bears multiple stars = 1 point
Bears a hemispherical view of the Earth = 1 point
Coins dated in the 21st Century = 1 point
Bears any reference to bees, their hives, combs or honey = 3 points

How about that? One entry per person and any ties go to the first poster. Let's give this till Saturday night, unless someone posts an exact match. That would be an automatic victory!

I know it doesn't count for anything but it is a 2 headed coin.

- Bimetallic - gold plug added to neck to compensate for low weight (all have them in the same spot)
- Multiple languages - Brahmi, Bactrian, Pahlavi

Nice submissions so far!

I wanted to point out that, technically, coins of Canada, the UK/British Empire and others that bear "D.G. Regina" or "D.G. REG. F.D.", etc., are usually bilingual because of the Latin titles combined with English wording or other languages according to the dependency.

Apparently, Euro is Evro in Slovenian. Since Euro is a word in several languages, I will count it as a separate language for this challenge no matter what country's euro you post.

@Dorado

Nice specimen addition! I can't count the points for bee reference though, because I didn't include flowers in the criteria. That would be too general.

One entry per person
Am I allowed to post a new entry if I find something that would count for more points?

(I'm basically asking because there's a 4-pointer that I could post immediately, and a 5-pointer that I know is in my collection but can't find at the moment, so I want to know if I can post the 4-pointer today and still have an option to post the 5-pointer later if I find it sufficiently quickly.)
