Yep I'm around but was waiting for the result....?

spruett001 coin has a D mintmark on the peripheral of the coin which could count in my opinion and put him on 18 points?...
And my coin has an H which I'm unsure will count?
Waiting for bd251 final decision ..as its his challange?
If jbuck wants to take the reins no problem from me
Let me know..Paul

Sorry for the silence guys. I was out of town and thought I'd be able to check in Monday night, so I apologize for that.

Spruett001 is the winner of this round with 17 points. My intention for a fractional coin was one that states its value in the form of a fraction (see my example in the first post) so a nickel doesn't count. You could argue that "cents" is out of 100 and therefore ot is stated as a fraction. That isn't an argument I anticipated when writing the rules. Either way, spruett001 is the winner because the "H" in Palouche coin I would say doesn't follow the curve of the coin since it is a single letter that is pretty isolated if not more grouped with other text which is written straight horizontally.

Over to you spruett001!

I'm glad I checked back. I thought for sure I would not win, so it wasn't a big deal.

Turns out, I didn't win. The "H" on Palouche's coin fits the criteria better than the "D" on mine because the orientation is not correct to "follow the circular shape of the coin." (It's sideways in that regard)

However, the biggest detail is that Palouche's coin is also bilingual, as well, which was not added to the points at all. It contains English and Latin, just like mine. It is also "fractional" in the same cents as mine. All things equal (excluding MM and fraction), I count Palouche's coin at 18 points and mine at 17 points. Also, he posted first.

@Palouche

I defer to you as the real winner. If you don't want to, I will figure something out for a challenge.

I assume something like a sovereign from the UK and one from Australia wouldn't count?
