I don't have taken too many pics of much of my US collection unfortunately.

However, here is an impaired 1996 proof Dime that I picked up in change somewhere. By my calculations the melt value is $1.7745, which gives me a score of 0.056.

If I got this right
.01BDM=.01USD
.925 silver 3.70 grams
Bullion value 2.71USD= .00369
271 X face value
Guess it is still legal tender

Just a quick reminder that @pep offered up a list of potential new challenges several pages upthread:

Quote:
Maybe it would help if we had list of ideas to be used for future challenges. Things like:

- oldest coin with lettering
- newest coin with no lettering
- oldest coin with airplane, car, locomotive, ship, etc.
- star with the most points
- coin with the largest central hole
- etc.

A moderator would have to collect these in one place, I suppose.

United States -- 5 oz Ag / 25 cents, 2016:

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

face value = $0.25
melt value = 5 * $24.63 = $123.15

ratio = .25/123.15 = 0.00203004466098254165

(I guess I'm in last place?)

Post a coin you pulled from circulation, the coin that was found the farthest from its home wins. This one made it 6,911 miles
Issued in Taiwan and spent in Las Vegas.

It's the distance between where the coin was last spent(or attempted) and where it was issued(the country not the mint)

I will also accept coins found in rolls.

Or vending machines/coin star finds.

Or even if you just found it on the ground.

But nothing that was purchased.

How exactly would you like us to measure the distance? From capital city of the foreign country to the city where it was found? Geographic center of the foreign country? I'm assuming you want us to Google maps or some other maps program to measure on the globe?

I simple typed "Distance Las Vegas to Taiwan" in google. It should give you a number every time. Though if you would like to be more precise you are welcome to.
