I kind of liked the last couple of rounds but they certainly didn't seem too popular.

But maybe to much research to do?
But know that I think about all the other rounds, you need to know your coins. Back in a few

Whoever has an idea, go for it. If not, I might give it another go.

I will let the other hemisphere have a shot. If I see nothing tomorrow I will post a challenge then.

I've got a nice idea, but I've had it since December and I think it's a bit out of season by now... I mean, I'd still use it if nobody else has anything, but it might look weird.

Also, my day is expected to be quite busy today and there's a good chance I won't be able to post my idea for the next 8-10 hours, so it's possible that jbuck comes in and it's not there yet and I'm not sure what happens then.

Thanks! I was just about to start writing

Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish! Yet-Another-Forum-Game---Numismatic-Go-Fish!

Duchy of Sabbioneta, Vespasiano Gonzaga, sesino, 1562-1591
Obverse: VESP D G DVX SABLON I, bust of Vespasiano Gonzaga facing left
Reverse: SANCT VS NICOLAVS, Saint Nicholas standing
Numista 167193 (the linked page shows a much better example)

15 points for a coin featuring Saint Nicholas
5 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of, if applicable) a saint other than Nicholas (+1 bonus point per extra saint for multiple applicable saints)
3 points for a coin featuring Santa Claus (and/or a similar character, such as Grandfather Frost)

10 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of) someone named Vespasian(o)
5 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of) someone named for a Roman emperor (other than Vespasian)
3 points for a coin featuring (and/or from the reign of) an actual Roman emperor* (other than Vespasian, who gets 10)

10 points for a coin from Sabbioneta
5 points for a coin from any other Italian state
2 points for a coin from unified Italy (or any other country containing all or most of Italy)

In all cases tokens, medals, and other similar numismatic items (if applicable) are also accepted.
I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of coin will win! (I'm not actually sure, though I have my suspicions.)

*) I hadn't yet decided what to do with the (fairly frequent) case of Roman emperors named for other Roman emperors. I think I would probably count them for 5 points (as opposed to 3 or 8), but I'm not yet sure, and could be persuaded otherwise.

Wow, seriously could the challenge be anymore difficult, just saying, coins of Vespasian and obscure Saints.

I realy should have jumped in when they offered it to the other Hemisphere.
