New game contest Coin sets Examples :           Points: 1 point for the set + 1 point for each coin. You can post as many sets you want.the maximum score wins the contest. I can't offer much here, as I tend to pull sets apart. Here are 2 sets that I could find it in me to pull apart. 1776 - 1976 USA Silver Proof set   1969 Military Order of Malta set.   Steve :) |

Cool let the games begin!  USA 1977 - 6 coins = 7 points  PAPUA NEW Guinea - 1976 7 coins = 8 points   New Zealand 1969 Specimen set - 7 coins - 8 points   Western Samoa 1967 - 7 coins = 8 points So far 31 points. |

More sets   1970 UK proof last sterling set 8 coins = 9 points (Not counting that medal)  1983 and 1986 UK Uncirculated sets - 8 points each + 1 point each extra for whole set = 18 more pointsettes  1984 and 1985 (They got rid of the Half Penny) sets - 15 points + 2 points for complete sets. 42 points plus the 61 I already have = 103 points |

I don't have anything to offer here either. I purchase sets usually for the sole purpose of cannibalizing them to fill holes in albums. Good luck everyone and Happy Holidays!

Continuing on with my points so far - 103 points  1987 UK Uncirculated set - 8 points  1992 Explorers set of 4 $5 coins (NZ) - 5 points  1989 4 silver $1 set of Commonwealth games dollaz - 5 POINTS   Australia 2007 UNC - 7 points 25 more pointzes = 128 points |

One more post for Christmas Eve in New Zealand.  NZ 1990 Silver proof set 150 years = 6 points  Ireland 1969/70 - 1st decimal coins sampler set - 7 points    Australian 1977 and 1982 sets, both with 6 coins each = 14 points in total   Australia 1988 bicentennial coin set - 9 points 36 more points makes a total of 193 points. I am waiting for "Okay dude, you have a lot of coin sets, stop already!"   |
