Goggles, or safety glasses, are forms of protective eyewear that usually enclose or protect the area surrounding the eye in order to prevent particulates, water or chemicals from striking the eyes. They are used in chemistry laboratories and in woodworking....

Goodness sake, just let him have it. We can't excuse modern sexism for the fact no near sighted ladies have been numismatically blessed.
What about women who wore glasses at times, but chose not to on the coin. Examples Susan B Anthony, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Her Majesty Queen Margarethe II of Denmark and Queen Victoria?

Quote: What about women who wore glasses at times, but chose not to on the coin. Not so. Not many available, but there is a new one in the USA. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces315130.htmlAnyway I'm going to declare Dorado the winner as no one else found one. :)

Quote: Honestly, when I did this, I didn't realise 1822 would be so difficult. Then I checked my coins and I don't have one either. Ouch! Quote: Anyway I'm going to declare Dorado the winner as no one else found one. :)
