We have only 2 players ...
Well these "America only" threads will throw me out completely as I only have a handful of American coins at this stage.
It is ironic I won your quarters contest, because I actually showed a photo (A very hazy one) with more than one quarter.
Dorado, you need to realise many of the players here include non Americans, an Aussie, a Kiwi, a Brit and a Russian and we are not all big time American collectors.
You need to do more global and more thematic contests to get the entries.

Others might be lucky and have a coin that matches very well, but having many coins that match is harder. I might as well post some US dollars, though, as I realized that I do have photos of a few... 1923-S Peace dollar. Bought as 1921, price was about $28 which was slightly under melt value on that specific day, turned out to not be 1921, mintmark discovered about a year later.

Participation *: And you guys wonder why there are so few competitors when you insult people for not participating. We need to make the go fish competitions easier to get more people. Not everyone is some super specialised mega money collector. We need to outreach to the general collector too and those that collect coins rather than call themselves numismatists.

We need to make the go fish competitions easier to get more people. Not everyone is some super specialised mega money collector. We need to outreach to the general collector too and those that collect coins rather than call themselves numismatists. I mean, to be fair, the actual super specialized collectors (jbuck is a mild example of this) tend to lose out on both "post all your Xs" and "match coin", unless one or the other happens to match their specialization. It's honestly hard to think of an idea where a general collector can win that isn't "whoever posts this common type first wins", which is IMHO just boring. Admittedly I don't think I actually qualify as a general collector. The insults really weren't warranted, though. Shame on you, Dorado! In the meantime, here's my other photographed US dollar... I have a few more, but AFAICT no photos.

Do you really want me to post all 40+ Ike dollars here? You could just check the link in my signature. In an effort to be fair, I will just present a dollar type set...
