Timezones and patience people, NZ is now back at standard time, which means its 16 hours ahead of the forum time. Anyway nice and easy for you. Dorado did long legged birds. I want to do the opposite. Short legged and or thick legged birds like this The kotare (kingfisher) has a large body and short legs that are less than 3 inches long. 1 point per short legged bird (Must be a whole bird not like a piece of figurative art. I have to identify the body) Confused what a short or fat legged bird is, basically if their legs look like drumsticks it counts. Think of birds like fowls, ducks, geese, swans, kingfishers, takahes, rheas, gulls, sparrows etc. Have fun and good luck. PS one more rule, real natural birds, not cartoon characters like Daffy Duck or Tweetie bird sorry

I think it's more that we keep having competitions to the effect of "post all your X coins" (for mildly varying values of X) and we only have 3-4 people good at that (Dorado being one of them), so the same people end up entering (and winning) because everyone else is scared off by the sheer amount of postings.
We complained about it a few weeks ago and there was a brief interruption but then the same kind of rounds started again.
Dorado, Princetane, please stop insulting each other. It doesn't look very nice. (For now it looks like Dorado is particularly non-nice, but I'm not good enough at insults to be entirely sure.)

We complained about it a few weeks ago and there was a brief interruption but then the same kind of rounds started again I agree. The original game centered on posting one coin to match one coin. I hereby proclaim that all future rounds focus on one coin entry per round and points assigned to that coin accordingly. I have spoken. Quote: Dorado, Princetane, please stop insulting each other. He crossed the line this time and should probably apologize. He may participate in future rounds, even if Prince is hosting, but any more insults will earn him a vacation. This is his only warning.

As always another fun round. If I may say. I see a lot of coins posted That I see no legs. Do those count?

Yes, if its a bird on the coin, we know it has legs, although its a gray area deciding the length of the birds legs.
However I am closing the contest early and making Triggersmob the winner and giving you, JBuck and January1May all 2nd places!

Quote: Take it away Triggersmob - Go fish style! Remember my new mandate! The host will post a coin with features to match for points. Everyone who participates is asked to post only one coin! An exception can be made if you find a higher scoring coin before the round ends. If you do so, please indicate that intent.

Ok, I'm going to use a coin that I just used in the previous round. As per the original rules, you have 24 hours to post the same coin, after that you can post the closest coin you have to match as many features as you can. Biafra 1969 1 shilliing. KM#2 As I only have one side photographed you can see the other side here and more details. https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces11978.htmlGood luck.
