Will you give me half a point for Burma?  I think that it is close enough to be a neighbor considering that it is just a short boat ride across the Gulf of Thailand and then up the beach. Here is my 1/100 unit that was struck between 750 and 832 AD. It is undated and uniface, so I'm thinking 2.5 points?   "If you climb a good tree, you get a push."

Joseph7240 is currently in the lead as the first to post a 3 pointer. Seems to be a nice turnout this round and a nice mix of coins!

Waiting on a chance to post a coin that would have won this round... if only the photo wasn't 40 kilobytes too large.
Seriously tempted to just post a tiny placeholder image, and then fix it if I ever find a way to upload the picture properly.
(I intended to just change the quality from 80 to 75 or 70 in the optimizer, but apparently this feature was removed recently.)

The only other coin I have is this Royal Cradle Ceremony from Thailand. It's a 200 Baht coin(well, it Does have a 2) and it is UNDATED (in English  )...   |

OK, just had a very confused discussion with the Forum Dad. Apparently I have misunderstood some quite fundamental things about image editing; he successfully proved me wrong, and so I proceed to apply the results    Empire of Vietnam (Dai Nam), Nguyen dynasty, Thieu Tri, 1 Van, ND (1841-47) Obverse: Thieu Tri Thong Bao Reverse: blank I'm not sure whether this coin counts as uniface, since the other side does have a raised rim (though no writing). Even so, I definitely get 2 points for time period, 1 point for undated, and 1 point for neighboring country (Vietnam), so I'm in the lead either way. |
