Hello, I'm not sure if the criteria allows coins without a specific year? or is it without a date present on coin? If the criteria does not allow coins that do not have a specific year, only a range of years, please disregard my submission. The coin that I have to submit for this round will not win, but may get me some points. I'm not sure how many points, if you could help me with that part? Here it is; The oldest coin I own: Chinese Cash Coin, Ching Dynasty, Emperor SHENG TSU, primary series, 1662-1722 From the Manchurian mint (2symbols is reverse) Value:1 Cash (0.001) Metal:Cast Bronze Weight:3.94 g Diameter:27.48 mm   *edited mint location Edited by Canadian coins

Don't think I'll be able to dig out and photo my Republican denarius (Spence has me beat anyway) so heres the best one I have photographed already Ariarathes IX Eusebes, king of Cappadocia. AR drachm Dated Year 4, 98-97 BC. Diademed head right / BAΣIΛEΩΣ AΡIAΡAΘOY EYΣEBOYΣ, Athena standing left, holding Nike, spear and shield. IΠΛ monogram in inner left field, date Δ in ex.  |

Nobody posted a coin from 148-138 BC, so Spence's coin wins I guess?

Ok well then without further ado (and with sincere apologies to @J1M for not waiting until we have the final scores), here is my challenge. As many of you know, I'm a big fan of dated coins. Rather than pick your coin with the earliest date, or one matching a specific coin (as we just saw), my challenge for you all is to scour through your collection for the coin with the most dates. These years can be AD, AH, some other calendar, or mixed among more than one calendar. They can be single, double, triple, or quadruple digit numbers or all written out in word form. In the end though, they actually must have been meant to be dates and not just random numbers that you are calling dates for the purpose of this contest. The scoring is super simple: you get one point for every date on your coin. You wanna post a US bicentennial quarter? That'll score you two points. I'm hoping that all y'all will use your creativity--calendar tokens, commemorative coins, non-circulating coinage, love tokens, coins with countermarks (that you didn't apply yourself), etc. are all within bounds on this one. Whoever posts a coin with the most dates is the winner! Can dates be duplicates and still count? Off the top of my head, I have one with three dates but two of them are the same (and same calendar).
